Supported languages

Find out which languages are supported for transcription and notes.

Multi-lingual support

Nyota offers robust multi-lingual support with two transcription modes.

  • Default Mode: This mode supports one language per meeting and is recommended for most users. It ensures high-quality transcription in the selected language.

  • Multi-Lingual Mode: This mode allows participants to switch between multiple languages during a single meeting, with transcription across all spoken languages. Keep in mind, this mode is not be as accurate, and features like custom vocabulary won’t work.

Advanced Language Detection

If your language is not listed in the High Quality languages, or if you're experiencing issues with automatic language detection, you can improve accuracy by enabling Advanced Language Detection in the settings. This feature provides enhanced support for detecting and transcribing various languages more effectively.

Notes Languages

Nyota enables you to translate and generate notes in any of the supported languages listed below. Within the settings, you have the option to:

  • Use a single language for all notes (default is English), or
  • Generate notes in the same language used during the meeting.

Heads up: Matching the meeting language only works for Default transcription mode.

Admin Controls

Organization administrators can enforce a single language across the entire organization. If this policy is in place, individual user preferences for notes languages will be overridden to ensure consistency.
